What Is Tallow?
Tallow is gently rendered beef fat (ours is made from 100% grass-fed, pasture-raised cattle). We use premium suet and fat trimming/back-fat tallow for its purity, smooth texture, and nutrient-rich profile. When rendered, it becomes a buttery moisturizer that closely resembles your skin’s natural oils.

- Cold-pressed olive oil, pure vitamin E oil, MCT coconut oil
- Olive herbal-infused oils (rosemary, plantain, chickweed, rose hips)
- Beeswax in balms
- Non-nano zinc oxide in sun care and diaper creams
- Pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils for natural scent and benefits
- Food-grade, natural flavors in lip balms (peppermint, vanilla, raspberry, and lavender)
- Organic dried herbs and spices (soaps and balms)

Is Tallow Safe for Babies or Pregnant Women?
Absolutely(we’ve used tallow to moisturize our little one since their very first bath!). Unscented tallow is gentle enough for:

Pregnant or nursing? Choose unscented if you wish to avoid essential oils.
Why Does the Color Vary From Batch to Batch?
Natural skincare varies — and that’s a good thing.
Color differences can come from:
- seasonal diet changes in grass-fed cattle
- the strength of herbal infusions
- natural variations in beeswax and butters
This is normal and does not affect quality.
What Do You Use for Scent?

How Should I Patch Test My Product?
Apply a small amount to your inner arm and wait 24 hours. If no irritation occurs, you’re good to go!
Why Does My Whipped Tallow Melt or Deflate?
Heat can soften or melt whipped tallow during shipping. This affects texture, not quality.
If this happens:
- Pop it in the fridge 15–20 minutes
- It will firm back up
- It remains equally nourishing
Fluffiness may not fully return — but the product remains perfect for use.
Why Does the Texture Change Depending on Temperature?
Warm weather = softer, meltier
Cool weather = firmer, buttery
This is completely normal for a natural, filler-free and preservative-free product.
What’s the Shelf Life?
Tallow skincare lasts 12–18 months when stored properly.
How Should I Store My Products?
Store in a cool, dry place.
Keep jars/tins/lip balm sticks away from heat, direct sun, and hot cars.
Use clean, dry hands to keep water out of the jar.
